It is common to feel sensitive after a reading. You will likely want some time by yourself to process the information you’ve received.
You may find that you want to discuss and process with a trusted friend or family member.
You may want to write. Give yourself time to process in the way that works best for you.
You may find yourself feeling a bit "up in the clouds" after a reading. A lot of energy has just flown between you, Spirit, and the medium. To return back into the body, it can be helpful to do some grounding activities.
Grounding exercises are things you can do bring you into the present moment. These can be quick or long. One example of a quick grounding exercise is taking three deep breaths into your belly. A longer grounding exercise might be doing a sitting meditation or practicing yoga.
One thing I like to do after a reading is a physical chore, like folding laundry or washing the dishes. By focusing on my body, it helps me return to the body, and ground me back into the present moment.

Resources for Developing Intuition
A psychic mediumship reading can be extremely healing, and may connect you to your own intuition. In the weeks and months after my first mediumship reading, I connected to my own intuition for the first time and developed my psychic abilities.
You may find yourself drawn to spirituality, to new spiritual practices, and to uncovering your soul’s purpose. The best thing you can do at this time is to follow what is exciting to your heart and trust that you know what is best for you. Be open. Listen. And know that you are an intuitive being and you already have the power to connect directly to Spirit within you.

A psychic mediumship reading can also initiate major change in your life. You may find that you now have different ways of seeing and understanding the world. You may struggle with how to cope with these large changes. Don’t struggle alone. If you don’t have family or friends to speak freely with, consider finding a talk therapist who is open to spiritual concepts.

There are few things more difficult in life than the loss of a loved one. If you need additional support in living with grief and with the grieving process, know that you are not alone. There are many communities of people living with grief and loss, and living a full life with their grief.
If you are feeling overwhelmed and struggling with your mental health, consider finding a grief counselor.
